Diagnostics & Procedures
Dr. Antonio Moretta implants pacemakers and defibrillators for slow heartbeats (bradycardia) alongside EP studies and ablations for faster ones (tachycardia). He further specializes in HIS bundle pacing and defibrillation, a new and growing area of electrophysiology that recircuits the patient’s natural electrical system versus traditional pacing.
Dr. Moretta is also leading the way in no-radiation EP studies and ablations using advanced ultrasound guidance instead. By avoiding fluoroscopy, our patients are exposed to far less radiation, which is cumulative over their lives and can cause cancer later on.

Antonio Moretta, MD, FHRS is quadruple Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology, and Echocardiography. He performs minimally invasive procedures to treat a wide range of cardiac arrhythmias using advanced technology including cardiac catheter ablation, pacemakers, leadless pacemakers, defibrillators and more. Dr. Moretta also specializes in left atrial appendage closure using the latest devices including the Watchman and the Amulet.
